• Saudi Leather & Cloths
Riyadh Exhibition Center, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA
The Saudi leather market has posted seven years of steady growth, despite the economic turndown. The market is now attracting heavy foreign investments and projects a minimal growth rate of 10%.

With 25 leather and tanning factories, the production industry has been focused on exports, and is far from meeting its domestic market needs. In 2009, a major agreement was signed between the Egyptian and Saudi governments to cooperate on both competency sharing and the increase of Egyptian leather exports towards the primed Saudi market. Egypt is the largest leather producer in the Middle East, with an industrial city of 200,000 m2 and 150 factories. The importance of the Egyptian pavilion and a Saudi market that consumes well beyond what its industry produces may make the Saudi Leather expo one of the most important leather events in the Middle East.
